Survey of unconverted oast
Location: Kent
Our client was looking to purchase this oast building with the intention of converting it into a house. They instructed us to conduct a full survey to highlight any structural issues and concerns.

Subsidence damage
Location: Tunbridge Wells
This building was showing signs of ground movement, (subsidence), causing damage to some of the outer walls. The owner of the building was concerned, and wanted to stop it getting worse.

- Designed underpinning
- Building contractors implemented underpinning according to our specification & made repairs to the cracks
Conversion of church into flats
Location: High Street, Herne Bay
The client had purchased this beautiful old church and had obtained planning permission to create five 2-bedroom flats and one 1-bedroom flat inside the building without impacting the exterior. It was a challenging project owing to the protected nature of the building and the demands of the client’s plans.

- We designed structure to suit the client’s plans but not to impact the appearance of the external walls
- The client was able to complete the project and realise their original vision for the building
